Anna


Ms. Anna Szczygielski received her Bachelors of Education (Secondary – English and History majors and a minor in Religious Studies) from McGill University. She also has a certificate to teach English As A Second Language (ESL) from Oxford Seminars.

Over the past fourteen years, she has taught Religion, Drama, Art, ESL and English Language Arts courses for grades 7-11.

She has had much success over the years of increasing student performance in writing and reading.
Ms. Szczygielski is known for her patience, compassion and being able to read her student’s needs and finding ways to meet them in her classroom.

Weaving stories into her teaching helps her students to connect to the content presented in her classes and this makes the classes more relevant for her students.
