Financial Aid and Scholarships

Financial Aid and Scholarships

North Star Academy Laval is pleased to provide allocated funding through the support of The Polaris Foundation. North Star Academy Laval relies on voluntary contributions to The Polaris Foundation from members of the community to provide support for scholarships, bursaries and additional educational initiatives.

Financial Aid

At North Star Academy Laval, we believe that financial limitations should not be a barrier to accessing a quality English education. Our financial aid program provides assistance in the form of bursaries, which are awarded based on demonstrated financial need and managed with the utmost confidentiality.

To be eligible for a bursary, applicants must meet the school’s admission or re-registration requirements. The financial aid awarded is applied as a reduction of tuition fees. Since bursaries are granted on an annual basis, a new application must be submitted each year.

Needs‐based financial aid is available to students in Grades 7 to 11 and is assessed through a third-party organization called FAST Aid.

Applying for Financial Aid/Bursary

To apply for financial aid or a bursary, applicants must submit their application through FAST Aid, an independent organization specializing in financial assessments for educational institutions. This agency evaluates the submitted information to determine financial need. Parents with questions about the FAST Aid application process may contact the agency directly. All financial information is handled with strict confidentiality.
Once all admission applications have been reviewed, the Board of Directors considers FAST Aid's recommendations and approuves the allocation of financial assistance. All financial aid decisions are made with fairness, transparency, and confidentiality at the forefront.
