Somang-NSAL Hockey Development Program

North Star Academy Laval is proud to be partners with Somang Hockey. The Somang Hockey Development Program prides itself in developing skilled hockey players who travel the world to participate in specialized camps and leagues in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.

A Flexible Schedule

The NSAL-Somang Development Program helps players hone their hockey skills by offering daily hockey training sessions, 20 minutes away from the school, built around students’ school schedules.

Acquire Leadership Skills

Members of the hockey program benefit from the opportunity to learn and develop under one of the best technical coaches in North America – François Landreville, former Coach for the Colorado Avalanche. Somang has teams at the U13, U14, U15, U16, and U18 as well as Prep levels. They develop student’s game sense and game management skills from both a physical and mental stamina through an intense game schedule of over 60 games per season.

Hockey player students are supported at NSA with a flexible schedule and after school tutoring available each day for them to keep up with their studies.
