Demonstration Debate focusing on Science and Technology

North Star Academy Laval has a partnership agreement with Santo Domingo de Guzman schools in Peru. Last year we took part in a Math competition and this year we engaged in a Demonstration Debate focusing on Science and Technology as compared to Biodiversity and Native Products. We began with a Welcome Ceremony and were treated to a Peruvian Dance which got us all up on our feet. Our time together wrapped up with some moving poetry and a medal presentation. We are already looking forward to next year when we will have the opportunity to meet with our new friends once again and challenge each other to discuss different sides and perspectives on various issues affecting our world today.
