Alexandra Reed

Ms. Reed received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Concordia University. During her studies she gained practical experience working as an art educator in the elementary and high school grade levels. This is Ms. Reed’s second year teaching at NSA.

Over the last year, she has taught grades 7, 8 and 11 Visual Arts, grades 10 and 11 Ethics and grades 10 and 11 Media Studies.

Ms. Reed is a very passionate artist and art educator. She helps students to develop their own unique artistic abilities and be creative in and out of the classroom.

Ms. Reed uses artistic techniques, visual examples, demonstrations and her own prototypes to help inspire and engage students.

She integrates art and technology into her teaching curriculum to allow students to explore a variety of different art media.
